Job Description
The ideal Business Analyst | Business Intelligence candidate will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the Business Users and the Solution Delivery team for this regional full-stack IT solutions integrator | provider.
The ability to understand & document functional reporting requirements, design BI & operational report layouts, develop data mapping & ETL specifications and support the delivery of the solution (e.g. via testing phases) are the key success factors for this position.
Industry experience in Insurance | Financial Services is preferred.
Solution experience in Data Warehousing | BI | Analytics is required.
Key Responsibilities | Deliverables
- Service as Liaison between Business Users & Technical Delivery Team
- Capture business reporting requirements from process owners & business users to drive functional requirements definition.
- Design Business Intelligence | Operational | Management Reports
- Produce Functional & Technical BI Specifications for Solution Delivery team, including ETL mapping specifications
Experience | Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science | Engineering or equivalent technical degree
- 3 years experience across Business Analysis, System Analysis and/or Programming
- 1-2 years experience with DW or BI implementation projects
- Solid understanding of EDW | ETL | BI concepts & workflows
- Experience in Cognos | Yellowfin is ideal
- Business Analyst experience in Insurance | Financial Services industries preferred
- IT Consulting background preferred
- Excellent command of English
