Role Overview

Our client is a global MNC FMCG company. Currently they are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer.  The core responsibility is to lead the marketing strategy in the regional (SEA) and pilot the marketing division as regional role.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop country and regional, and trade customer insight & foresights and package these appropriately to feed into category and customer development strategy
  • Develop country and regional marketing strategy and plans, define by the strategic thrusts and align to category strategies and long term plans
  • Develop & resource annual marketing activity plans
  • Channel Audits and JTBD (Job to be done)
  • Channel Basket & Prioritization
  • Marketing and Sales Activity Plans & Calendar
  • Effective Management of BMI (Brand Marketing Investment)
  • Work with Category teams to ensure innovation, rejuvenation and Big Bets activity creation is relevant to operators, create plans to deploy with impact in country
  • Lead team in the development of relevant marketing campaigns and activation across all relevant touch points, including Digital Marketing
  • Ensure excellent execution of the marketing plans to operators and through route of Trade Marketing Plans
  • Perfect Launch execution with Customer Development & other functions
  • Engagement of marketing plans to Customer Development teams
  • Post activity evaluation
  • Ongoing monitoring & course correct as relevant
  • Ongoing development of local marketing team, represent marketing on the local Management Team and be a key member of this team
  • Represent the company as a marketing expert in the local industry (trade organizations) and work with key customers as relevant

Required Skills and Experience

  • Male/Female, age over 35 years old
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Advertising or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years working experience in marketing strategic planning in FMCG – fast and dynamic category
  • Strong knowledge with experiences in developing ATL BTL marketing strategy
  • Digital Marketing background is preferable
  • Fluent command of English communication skills
