Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic technical plan to realize company market potential.
- Lead all technical aspects including nutrition, feed production technology, trials and customer support. Develop plan to prepare the region for growth opportunities for aquaculture
- Drive aqua technical excellence by delivering innovative aqua solution that add value and connect to the customer needs.
- Identify & build technical capabilities of the region. Support the development of the regional and local team in nutrition, enzymes solutions, feed production technology and species knowledge.
- Support the development &implementation of R&D strategies. Develop sales & marketing tools for aqua through technical insights.
- Represent the company as speaker/presenter for technical presentation, communication to internal, external customer and events.
- Field visit to customer and support the management of key account in the region.
- Facilitate & lead strategic trials that can strengthen leadership positioning in aquaculture market.
- Advance product application. Identify growth opportunities in aquaculture and use industry trends to improve company portfolio's offering.
- Support internal capabilities building, develop training in aqua nutrition & feed mill technology.
- Conduct market analysis & keep internal stakeholders updated on industry/market development.
- Constantly innovate in driving company technical expertise
Requirement:
- Master's degree in animal science/nutrition or related discipline. PhD Aquaculture would be preferred.
- Post graduate degree in business management an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in this species field, particularly in aquaculture production, nutrition and health is preferred
- Strong research background in fish/shrimp nutrition.
- Good working knowledge of feed industry in Asia Pacific is preferred.
- Good proven interpersonal skills
- Ability to work across cultures and communicate effectively in remote and face to face situations.
