Job Description

 

The ideal IT Manager candidate will drive the implementation, roll-out and support of the Point-of-Sale (POS) solution for this iconic Thai Luxury Personal Goods brand.

This IT Manager is responsible for work planning, milestone coordination, POS solution design & rollout, and Change Management (user training) for the 35 store/70 terminal footprint. Ongoing application support and team leadership (5 team members) is also part of the remit. The POS Manager maintains overall responsibility for both solution delivery & SLA-driven support outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities | Deliverables
 
  • Maintain overall responsibility for POS Solution Implementation, Rollout & Support from conceptual design thru successful delivery/deployment thru ongoing support.
  • Manage POS system roadmap, prioritized project workplans and project resources/consultants
  • Manage and understand user requirements, system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
  • Manage via appropriate project delivery methodology (e.g. Plan > Analyze > Design > Build > Test > Deploy)
  • Manage user training course development, delivery and ensure capable & enabled in-store users
  • Troubleshoot software and system designed
  • Build capable delivery & support team in POS solution stack (LS One - on-premise)

Key Requirements
 
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science | Engineering | Equivalent Technical
  • 5+ Years of IT Implementation and/or Support experience
  • 3+ Years of Point-of-Sale (POS) solution implementation & support
  • Good Analytic Thinking and Problem Solving
  • Strong Time & Team Management
  • Good Decision making skill
  • Good Command of both written and spoken English
  • Strong People & Communication skills
  • Retail industry Experience
