Job Description

Role Overview

The Strategy Manager will work on corporate strategy projects such as growth, market entry, portfolio strategies, and other related strategy topics for one of the largest Food & Beverages company in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities | Deliverables

  • Growth strategy: Formulate and identify growth plan to support organizational growth aspirations
  • Market entry strategy: Formulate and identify paths and potential options to tap specific consumer and product segments
  • Portfolio strategy: Review existing product portfolios, execute competitor benchmarking and identify improvement opportunities to win market shares and enhance product profitability

Expectations and responsibilities also include, but not limited to:

  • Independently develop the market size understanding and competitive landscape analysis
  • Identify key success factors to compete
  • Align internal resources to launch strategic initiative programs, and plan for their implementation
  • Support Head of Strategy and work closely with managing directors and other directors on strategy-related topics
  • Lead implementation of selected strategic initiative programs and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare presentations to the management team and related committees on strategic plans, performance analysis, and enhancements of the F&B and related businesses, and other related topics

Experience | Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration (or related fields) and Master's degree in business administration (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate strategy, preferably in management consulting field (excluding IT and operational consulting)
  • Demonstrating robust business sense, analytical skills, and project management leadership, being independent and reliable
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with structured approach to analyze and simplify issues, while having a strong passion to solve complex problems
  • Self-starter and idea initiator with strong conceptualization and execution skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing (typically through slides and document write-ups)
  • Ability to act as liaison and effective negotiator, aligning interests across various parties and stakeholders, and enhancing collaborations
