Job Overview And Responsibilities

Product line leader to drive strategic growth and improvements for product line in the MRO team. Will oversee the MRO P&L including production control, planning, procurement, engineering, and finance activities to drive cost efficiencies and margin growth. The position has both strategic and tactical responsibilities including day to day operational, financial and personnel performance of assigned departments. Establishes and implements goals and standards to maintain and control operational standards, service level and costs.

    • Cross-Divisional Teamwork and Strategy Development - Proactively supports initiatives to meet Divisional and Corporate objectives
    • Analyze data, performance issues and implementation of appropriate action plans/corrective measures to meet goals
    • Ensures adherence to company and regulatory procedures and policies
    • Team Leadership - Provide day-to-day management and team development of a cross functional planning and project management team
    • Oversee cost centers expense to meet the financial plan
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic employee relationships and programs through a Working Together culture
    • Implementation of strategic initiatives - Responsibilities include management of Engine Product Line and P&L, including technical and financial performance
    • Enable the organization to support new customers orders
    • Ensures planning and procurement organization executes to meet material and operational needs for United and 3 rd party work
    • Partners and forms alliances with customers, internal and external
    • Team development – build and manage department individual contributors to support their development and career goals
    • Infuse a Working Together culture and coach goal development and measure results
    • Continuous Improvement - Responsible for performance management and ongoing professional developmental support of direct reports and "dotted line" reports
    • Drive continuous improvement to meet organizational objectives
    • Systematic use of continuous improvement tools and techniques to drive business results
    • Build aggressive but achievable goals in conjunction with senior leadership, determined by strategic direction

 

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Adaptability, business acumen, planning, customer focus required, able to work with all levels of United Leadership, Innovation, Teamwork, Employee focus, project management tools, planning process and policy knowledge, People management skills required
  • Minimum 5 years in MRO
  • Minimum of 5 years at a management level
